King Solomon, the son of King David and Bathsheba, was known throughout the ancient world for his incredible wisdom and wealth. He was the king who built the first Temple in Jerusalem, a house for God's presence on earth. While he is most famous for his proverbs and the book of Ecclesiastes, he also contributed two significant psalms to the collection.

They were known in all Israel as the children of rebellion and the sons of men who were against the prophet of God, Prophet Moses. Nevertheless, the descendants of Korah were spared and went on to become an honored lineage of worship leaders in Israel's history. God had mercy on them and redeemed their name and legacy from the depths pf Hell, hallelujah!

They trusted in the LORD and He made them the men of great honour and gave them favour that they even ended up authoring a total of eleven (11) psalms out of 150 psalms. Truly the LORD can turn ashes into something amazing, His ways are magnificent and wondrous, amen!

Psalm 42 is arguably the most famous of the Sons of Korah's psalms. One of their sweet psalm is, "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God," how beautiful it is to see God im such way. Read some of the verses below to find out why:

As you have read it begins with the beautiful and often-quoted line, "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God." The psalm captures the deep spiritual longing of the author, who feels far from God and is suffering from the taunts of others.

He slayed giants and champions in Israel that were not slayed by the former Israelites. Really more can be said about this great king. Once more, King David was...and..indeed a very skilled musician; that he even drove out a demon from King Saul to be in peace!...
