In the Old Testament, Baal was the false god most commonly associated with idol worship and rebellion against God. He was the god of fertility, storms, and rain, and his worship often involved corrupt practices, including child sacrifices and immoral rites. The name “Baal” literally means “lord” or “master,” a title that drew people’s allegiance away from Yahweh, the true God.

Baal is one of the fallen angels of Satan that fell with him from Heaven when they rebelled against God almighty. So, even now Baal is alive because he is spirit and they cannot die; and God did not take away their powers when they were thrown out of Heaven. They took their powers with them. That is how they are able to deceive many by using their angelic that they have to conquer the world. He does the will of his king and master Satan, the Devil.

Time after time, the Israelites fell into Baal worship, despite being warned. God sent his holy prophet morning, day and night to warn them, but they were stiffnecked until the words of God overtook them in the end!

In one of the most dramatic showdowns in the Bible, the prophet Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel, calling down fire from Heaven to prove who the true God was. Baal was powerless and the prophet of God exposed him publicly, while Yahweh revealed His great power in an undeniable display that lead to the death of all the false prophets of Baal. 1 Kings 18:16-40.

Baal's influence was not just about worshiping a false god—it was about turning people's hearts away from the true God, causing them to rely on something created, something false, rather than the Creator Himself.

In many ways, this same spirit of Baal is still at work today, to claim back their dominance, pulling believers away from Christ Jesus, the Son of God; through the subtle but powerful influence of technology and artificial intelligence.

Today, the world does not openly bow before statues of Baal. But the essence of Baal worship—turning away from God to follow false idols—has taken on a new form.

Technology, including AI that is gaining unprecedented traction all over the world, has become the new idols of this age and wicked generation. Our modern world is saturated with it: smartphones, social media, artificial intelligence, virtual realities, and endless streams of information.

Technology itself is not evil, but it becomes dangerous when it crosses the line from being a tool to being a master. This is where the spirit of Baal enters, using technology as a means to control, distract, and manipulate believers. It is used to keep people away from the Lord Jesus, His Word the Bible, the Church and anything that would grow them in the grace of God, such as praying and working for the Lord.

The want christians to forget about God entire and to no longer about His word, the Bible. They are keep them busy and crowded with things that are not beneficial to the christian life at all. In the end the become more dull and stubborn to take heed to the truth of God and end up becoming equally together with unbelievers. The love of the Lord is dead and they are spiritually no longer sensitive to the spirit of the Holy Spirit anymore.

Therefore, now all the technology and it devices become their gods, since now they have replaced the Lord with those things. We are no longer required to physically bow before idols made of wood and stone; instead, we spend hours glued to screens, allowing the technology to shape our thoughts, desires, and even our values.

Consider this: how many of us find ourselves compulsively checking our phones, scrolling endlessly through social media, or falling into the rabbit hole of entertainment? The danger isn't just in wasting time, no—it's in how these habits subtly alter and destroy our relationship with Christ Jesus. The more time and devotion we give to technology, the less we give to Him.

Ephesians 6:12 tells us,

Behind the technological marvels of our day and the amazing things we use them to do, there is a spiritual battle being waged—a battle for our attention, our loyalty, and ultimately, our worship. And I am afraid christian are have already lost it, because despite the number of christians all over the world, but the world noe is more darker than the dark ages of the past.

We are in great confession and turmoil now than any other time in world history, and at these endtime things are continuing to get worse and worse while we ignore praying, fasting and reading God's. We have lost it, we are spending long hours on social media, watching movies and TV and playing games. While souls are dying out there, we are really wasting time and playing with God's grace!

The spirit of Baal, that ancient enemy of God, has found new life in modern technology and its devices. But how does he use it to pull us away from God?

Deception through Information Overload

In the past, Baal's followers were deceived through physical idols and false promises and lies.

Today, deception comes through information overload, the Devil and his servant Baal are flooding christians and the entire with demonic information that is only cursed!

The Devil and Baal are not here to play but have come to steal, kill and destroy, that is it! All the information they give is only to curse and ensnare people to be stuck with the knowledge of the world that is against the Gospel of Christ Jesus. If it is not the gospel then it is evil, nothing is neutral there is a spirit behind it, whether good or evil depends on the kind of the spirit.

The internet provides unlimited access to knowledge, yet much of it leads us away from the truth. False doctrines which are demonic doctrines and come from; doctrines of traditions, religion and culture of culture; distorted ideologies, lies, deception, and seductive philosophies are just a click away, drawing people into confusion and moral compromise.

At the end people will be more reluctant and more hard to repent believe in the gospel of Christ Jesus. God's word seem less important and irrelevant to believers. Just as Baal led Israel into spiritual darkness, modern technology has now led believers into a fog of lies and distractions, and artificial intelligence is here to finish the job!

Addiction to the Digital World

One of the greatest dangers is addiction. Social media platforms, entertainment apps, and video games are specifically designed to keep us engaged for as long as possible.

These are the works of the Devil and demons to enslave believers and people to the things of the world that they will not hear God even when they are those preaching the word of God. This addiction dulls our spiritual senses, leaving little room for prayer, Bible study, or genuine worship. It makes christians to be barren and powerless against the enemy.

The enemy has invaded the church and now it powerless against it because of this evil things. Like the Israelites who could not tear themselves away from Baal, we find it very, very hard to break free from the grip of our devices! Addiction is demonic powers that hold people captive to resist them from doing the will of God, or anything for that matter.

Isolation and Division

Technology promises connection, but in reality, it often breeds isolation and division. Social media, though it connects us globally, has created a culture of comparison, anxiety, and loneliness. In the same way that Baal worship divided Israel from their covenant with God, technology has divided many believers from genuine fellowship and intimacy with the Lord. They say technology will make our lives better and change the world for that good of mankind, but when we look around the whole world is in great chaos, this things have only made things to be worse. The enemy has succeeded by believing a lie that is destroying every single day, lord have mercy!

The creation of made kind never did and never will be able to better our lives, the more we try the more die! We now have very powerful technology that is capable of wiping all mankind if they fall to the wrong hands, the works of the men are only evil. The Bible has the destiny of our future written of how technology will end up have to decide who will live or die, it will ultimately have the power to kill its creators and brings judgment unto them.

And we are speedily heading towards exactly as God has revealed it in his word. "And the message from is that mankind no matter what you do or create out of my will will end up killing you!" And as usually we still resist God and listen to the Devil and his demons, fall straight to the traps of Baal today, doing exactly what the children of Israel did despite all the warnings that they told, in the end they died.

And Baal will never help anyone, he does not care and loves it so, because he cannot even help himself out of the great curse that God has cursed and the terrible judgment that await them and their master, Satan.
