1. Recognize The Source Of True Peace
Peace is not something we manufacture; it is Someone we receive.
Yep, IT IS SOMEONE WE RECEIVE!
That might sound cheesy and so of romantic, but it is the truth! PEACE is a person that has a name...
The world tells us peace can be found in success, money, or a stress-free lifestyle. But those things can vanish in an instant, just like that. Even way faster that the we have received them—it may take years to build but seconds to lose everything. Once you lose everything that is when your world turns upside down, you will more peace than anyone seeking way to get it, but to no avail!
The Lord Jesus, however, introduces Himself as the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). We are not talking about just an expect of peace, no, we talking about the Originator, Cause, Sustainer and the King of Peace! That is a very bold statement that the Word of God reveals about the "Son of man...."
Furthermore, that means peace is not a principle—it is a Person. That is the secret of peace in life!
If true peace is what you are seeking for, take note, I did not say, "...is what you want" but what you "seek;" you will get it from the Lord Jesus, period!
They have come and gone, build companies, organizations, spent millions of dollars, and many other worldly methods to bring peace; but have all failed miserably for ages: even world history is a witness of how mankind have went to the extremes just to bring peace that did not last for long but faded in the noise and flood of the chaos...
At the end of the day we are left with chaos! Now what is going to happen as usually is that they will reinvent the theme once again that they are coming or working with some that will bring peace, but they are lies and no peace will come from anyone but Christ Jesus.
The more we draw close to Christ, the more His peace becomes ours.
27. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 14:27
Pause for a moment: Are you chasing peace in people, possessions, or achievements? Or are you resting in the One who is peace?
2. Guard Your Heart And Mind with Prayer: A Key To Connecting To Peace Of Jesus Christ
The human heart is like a sponge—it soaks in whatever is around it. If we allow fear, worry, and doubt to fill us, they will eventually overflow. But prayer is the daily act of wringing out anxiety and making room for God’s presence.
That is how we as christians should purify ourselves from dross that is the filth of the world. And there is only one way dross can be removed from silver and gold; as you have guessed it, it is through fire. So establishing a prayer lifestyle is very vital for not only for the sake of peace but for harmony and spiritual purity and growth.
Thus, we connect more and more as we consistently pray everyday then the peace of the Lord comes to our hearts and experience great peace.
What you realize that many believers are in depression, stress and taken hold of the chaos in the world is because they are disconnected from the Prince of Peace; so their souls hunger and thirst for Him, then what you get because of the peace of God is anxiety in every form and color!
Apostle Paul’s words in Philippians are not just good advice; they are a survival guide for a restless heart:
6. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Philippians 4:6
Notice the words in every situation. Peace doesn’t come from ignoring problems but from handing them over to God with trust and thanksgiving.
People think that there is some secret formula that the muslims, hindus, monks and other demonic religions out there, no...they are simply more focused to their demonic gods and have no time to be focusing on the noise and chaos of the world.
Other religion believers and more committed to their masters than you would realize for christians when it comes to the Lord Jesus Christ. They simplicity and the grace of God they undermine it than other vain things out there...
... If you study the lives of the Israelites in the Old testament, you will realize that they chaos, curse, slavery and destruction instead of peace, blessing, freedom and prosperity: they just found themselves trying to add more complicated things when the Lord made things for them; He gave them His Law to obey and live by it, but chose to serve Baal who demanded the death of their children.
We you mention prayer you are talking about something that people are allergic to. So they erroneously assume that they can override the ways of God Almighty and get away with peace. But what they should ask themselves is, "How is it working out for them so far?"
Do not be fooled by anyone: especially the internet and social media has painted a false image that all we need to experience peace is when we follow what is trending and have lots of money...
The once that fall for this snares and pits of Hell are the youth and poor people that are desperate to live the life that they see on social media and entertainment such as movies, celebrities and so on.
Ultimately they are turning to idolaters, and they do not experience peace but more anxiety, competition, depression, chaos and ultimately others commit suicide they way they are impacted by this illusion of peace and happiness....
Therefore, as you simply pray everyday, not some one time or few weeks, no..!
You have to decide to believe the Lord of Peace and lay your life in His hands and depend on Him, therefore making prayer one of your habits in your life. This is only for those that seek the Lord not some package that you buy, then walla systems are all go...no..no!
You have to stop playing and fooling yourself because God cannot be mocked, so do yourself a favour and be sincere and serious about your life then you will have peace in Jesus Name!
28. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Matthew 11:28-30
He will give you a light yoke and take away ALL YOUR BURDENS BECAUSE HE IS FAITHFUL AND LOVES YOU, hallelujah!
3. Anchor Yourself in God’s Word: The Second Key To Great Peace
We have talked about having your like a prayer alter, now it is time to take it a step further and anchor yourself in the Word of God.
That is right, you need to give yourself time to read you bible. If you do not have a physical one try downloading one, the are thousands out there on the internet and app store, then go ahead and set reminders to help you in the process.
Life this nowadays is made much better by technology that we can take advantage of to boost our relation with God, yes you can but it requires effort. It is not easier said nad done, work is required onw way or the other.
Think of the Holy Scripture as both a compass and an anchor. When life is confusing, it points you in the right direction. When storms come, it keeps you from drifting away.
165. Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
Psalm 119:165
When you open the Bible or bible app, you are not just reading ink on paper—you are feeding your soul with God’s promises.
Write verses about peace on sticky notes, save them on your phone, repeat them aloud when anxiety rises. God’s Word has the power to transform panic into trust and despair into hope.
Keep this in mind that whether you pray and read God's Word does not mean you will just keep flowing in peace everyday and that the Devil and demons will leave you alone, I am afraid that is not possible even the Lord was tempted all the time but never sinned, and that as long as you live problem and chaos are not going anywhere.
So what we are teaching you here is a way of life that enables you to leave in peace in the midst of all the chaos in the world.
And as you grow you will realize that the aim is not to stop the chaos and problems in life, there is nothing you can do to change that, but to live by the peace of God to overcome the power of the chaos in your life—it is more personal and experiential that many think in the heart!
4. Be Careful What You Feed Your Spirit
Imagine trying to grow a garden while constantly dumping poison into the soil. That’s what happens when we fill our minds with negativity, fear, and worldly noise. What we consume shapes what we feel.
Paul gives us a powerful filter:
8. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Philippians 4:8
This isn’t just a “positive thinking” mantra—it’s a spiritual discipline.
Replace toxic voices with worship music, fellowship with believers, and time in God’s presence!
Take out and cut off weeds that are draining peace, happiness and freshness out of your life! Check your friends, family, toxic people and relationships that lead you to anxiety and depression; what about changing the group that you are desperately choking the life out of yourself, hey, you know very well who is toxic and bad for your spirit—get rid of them!
Some of you are holding to relationships that you know it has turned into the son or daughter of Belial: you are now dripping unfogiveness, bitterness, anger, wrath, heartbrokeness and misery...!
The list goes no and on, it will require multitudes of books to write about this matter.
You need to sit down and ask yourself tough and important questions than just hoping that you will one day come out of there by some kind of magic. Do not be fooled by people that you envy and admire thinking that they are living a peaceful and happy life, trust me, they are not! Its all a act and fake, life of cartoons that children watch!
You have surrounded yourself with nothing but poison; you have been feeding a system that guarantees you fall, troubles, problems, anxiety and chaos!
Fear is the one thing that is holding you back thinking that where you are is where you will get peace, but you have been there for years, it is time now to leave that whatsapp group, delete that account, unfriend liers and people wasting your time; justifying yourself from ridicules of your family, relatives and people that will never acknowledge and appreciate you, no matter how good you are....
You have given the enemy power to control your life and your spirit is in a consistent comma and chaos!
Shut that door, this is you life and health; and begin to feed your soul and spirit healthy things! it all depends on your choices, so wake up before you end up committing suicide (that is exactly what happens to people that keep entertaining demonic lies and poison in their spirit, wake up this is real life)!
Decide to never feed your fears but feed your peace, may the Lord give you the grace to overcome in Jesus Mighty Name!
6. Lean On the Holy Spirit, The Comforter
Peace is not something you try harder to produce; it’s a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22). That means it grows naturally when you walk with Him daily.
The Spirit whispers reminders of God’s promises when your mind is troubled. He steadies you when emotions swing out of control. He reminds you of your identity in Christ when the world tries to drown you in fear.
16. Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
2 Thessalonians 3:16
Living in step with the Spirit transforms peace from being a rare experience into a daily reality.
Remember this that at the end of the day it is not by your power or might but the grace of God that will enable you and bring peace in your life.
Lean more and more on the Lord of peace and you will be moved, and be sensitive to His Spirit that helps believers to live a life of peace and victory.
The Comforter, the Holy Spirit is the one who will help you to pray effectively and make God's Word to be alive so that you can the Peace that you soul and spirit is thirsting snd hungering for. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit Of Peace, you need Him.
Welcome Him into your life and say, "Lord I need you in my life I cannot help myself. I surrender to you and give you my life. I have been selfish and thought that i can get peace by the things I believed in, but now I repent and come to you. take away all the chaos in my life and give your peace in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!"
6. Live With An Eternal Perspective - We Are Not Of This World
Many of our anxieties come from treating this world as if it’s all there is...
We now have to change our mentality and how we think about life as whole and our future. This will remove the heavy invincible loads that is upon the worldly, ungodly and unbelievers out there. But we, the children of God should not be equally yoked with them as if we are hopeless, no we are not!
Our God does not die He is Eternal, He lives forever because He is Eternal Life
18. I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Revelation 1:18
10. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
11. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
Revelation 1:18 & 1 John 5:11-12
Peace comes not from avoiding trouble but from knowing trouble does not have the final word. Every storm is temporary. Every hardship is momentary. But the victory of Christ is eternal!
When your eyes are on eternity, your heart finds rest even while your circumstances remain unsettled. Jesus warned us honestly:
33. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
John 16:33
Be not afraid the Lord of Peace has overcome and ready to give up His peace let us approach His throne of grace and receive it in Jesus Christ Name, hallelujah!
Conclusion: Peace Is Possible, Even Now
